Acer launches new version of Predator gaming PC desktop
Filed under: Hardware
Back in October 2008, well known PC hardware maker Acer entered the gaming PC rig business with their first version of the Acer Predator. While the rig had lots of high end components inside, the unusual outside case that resembled a Japanese anime mech was the main attraction.
Today Acer has launched a new version of the Predator PC, the AG7750-U2222. As you can see the case is different than the original but still pretty wild to look at. The PC starts at $1,999 and for that price you can expect to get an Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 graphics card inside, a 2.8GHz Core i7 930 CPU, a 1.5TB 7,200rpm hard drive and more. Of course you can customize the insides to your linking. It’s currently on sale at Amazon.com and other outlets.
