It’s a new year, and maybe you’re thinking to yourself, “This year, I’m going to get that new Mini (or Corvette or Challenger or whatever) I’ve had my eye on.” Well, we here at Wandering Goblin have a suggestion for you. Don’t wimp out with a new new sports car, motorcycle, or boat. That stuff is for wussies. Instead, why not pick up a new SU-27 Flanker.
Yes, an SU-27. Once the pride of Russia’s air force (just a few years ago, quite frankly), the SU-27 is quite an aircraft. Much to our surprise, two of them have been decommissoned, and they’re now for sale. If you are so inclined, and feel like flying a slightly used Russian fighter plane around, this is your one opportunity to pick one up.
No, it doesn’t come with any missiles or auto-cannon or anything like that. But imagine how all the guys with Corvettes are going to feel when you blow by them (with a nice low flyby) in one of these.
