At EVE Fanfest, the developers at CCP have released some new information about Dust 514, the console FPS that will interact directly with EVE. Among other things, we learned today that the game will be subscription free, but will support microtransactions. These microtransactions will make things like item blueprints available abut will not, in the words of the developers, allow players to “buy win.”
