One of the longer publishing partnerships in games is apparently kaput. Gamesindustry.biz is reporting that Eidos will no longer use Warner Bros.Interactive as its publishing and distribution partner. Batman: Arkham Asylum and Mini Ninjas will be the last Eidos games that will be involved in that deal.

It’s pretty easy to figure out the reason; Eidos was bought out by Square Enix earlier this year and with Square Enix trying to gain more of a foothold in the Western market (with its own games and with titles under Eidos) having Warner Bros. Interactive in a threesome was not a good fit for the newly combined company.
