Fallout 3 DLC expansions coming to retail stores?
Filed under: Downloads, Expansions, RPG, Fallout 3
Bethesda Softworks has so far released two mini-expansions for their post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 3. Both Operation Anchorage and The Pitt have been available strictly as a download via the Games For Windows Live client. Now it appears that the publisher may be releasing that extra content as a retail release.
According to a new listing on the Amazon.com site, both of the expansions will be made available in a retail box copy for PC owners. The listing shows a May 26 release date with a $19.99 price tag (both of the expansions were first released for $10 each). For some reason the listing does not mention the upcoming Broken Steel mini-expansion which is due for release via digital download on May 5.
